Pricey but much richer than the lotion, which is still very good, but you know where the extra money goes. It's been very challenging since YSL stopped making Paris lotion, cream and powder. Chanel 5 body cream very good as is Goutal rose gel cream but Paris still top, IMO. Goutal lotions aren't strong enough for my money - they don't last. Nor do the shower oils tho I still buy them.

This is definitely a splurge purchase. It is simply divine. The cream is rich and luxurious and the scent is heavenly. I don't use this during the humid Queensland summers because it melts in the heat and makes your skin slippery. The lighter lotion is a better choice then. The jar is exquisite. I might keep it and put a cheapy in it when it is finished.
